For travel from Owani Onsen Station at Hoshino Resorts Kai Tsugaru to the 14km Oirase Gorge, where the only outflow of Lake Towada's waters flows, the cheapest and most convenient option is Aomori Taxi's "Area-Specific Fixed-Rate Taxi," which allows you to travel without transfers. Normally, the taxi fare from Owani Onsen to the Oirase Gorge area (Konokuchi/Ishigato) would be higher depending on the weather and road conditions, but we offer a low fixed-rate fare.

National Route 102 from Owani Onsen to Lake Towada (Yunokawa, Hirakawa City - Takinosawa, Hirakawa City) will be closed in winter from late November to early April.Also, a detourNational Route 394 from Kuroishi City, and National Route 103 from Aomori City to Mt. Hakkoda and Lake Towada are open from mid-December to mid-March."Closed at night from 21 pm to 7:３０",Prefectural Route 40 Tashirodaira is closed from mid-12 to mid-3 at night from 18 pm to 7:３０, as well as emergency road closures due to snow. Please check when ordering or making a reservation.
