Hiranai Town is located almost in the center of Aomori Prefecture.On the "Natsudomari Peninsula" that protrudes into Mutsu Bay, on "Oshima (Kita no Enoshima)" that protrudes from the tip of the peninsula, on "Tsubakiyama", which is designated as a natural monument of Japan as the northern limit of the natural habitat of camellias, scallops are cultivated.
